We offer two versions of the Soviet pilotka hat. You can choose the one that fits your period or reenactment best.

Classic dark green pilotka
This is the standard Soviet pilotka.
It was used from World War II through the 1970s–1980s.
Made from wool or wool-blend fabric, warmer and more traditional.
Worn by most branches of the Soviets:
Perfect for WW2 reenactment, collections, or everyday wear. -
Late Soviet “Afghan” pilotka (sand color)
This is a later version made from cotton fabric, the same material as the famous “Afghanka” uniform M88.
Used mainly in the late 1970s–1980s, especially during the Soviet–Afghan
Lightweight and practicalm, a true field version.Star options

Red enamel star
The classic symbol of the Soviet.
Used widely from WW2 until the late 1980s.
Most common on everyday and parade uniforms.Green (field) star
A camouflage version used in field conditions.
